Job Description

Western Forest Products is currently recruiting for a temporary Administrative Assistant for their Corporate Timberlands' Office in Campbell River.  

The successful candidate will support various administrative functions within the office, which will include administrative support for members of the Senior Management Team, Corporate Forestry, Fibre Optimization, and the Finance Team, all based within the Campbell River office.


Job Requirements

The successful candidate should have strong administrative skills, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative role, preferably within the resource sector.

Key attributes:

  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Strong computer skills, including demonstrated working knowledge in all MS Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent time and project management skills, including the ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
  • Accuracy in data entry and attention to detail in all areas of work.
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.

The ideal candidate will have post secondary education in business administration/technology, accounting, or related discipline.
